The Albany Light Opera Company was established in 1962. The aims of the Company is to provide an opportunity for those people who wish to display their performing talents and provide entertainment for the population of Albany and surrounding districts.
We at ALOTCO are very proud of the Albany Port Theatre and its history and our tradition of providing high quality entertainment. We continue to provide an artistic outlet for many fine and enthusiastic performers and musicians from the Albany district and several of our former members have gone on to careers in the arts in Australia and internationally.

I went to see We Will Rock You with my family. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. I had no idea Albany had so many talented people. Amazing singing, dancing and music. Beautiful costumes. Great story with some very funny comedy. My 11-year-old enjoyed it so much she asked if she could come back tomorrow to watch it again. Thank you, I had a great time.
